Eating Ginger Can Cure Motion Sickness

Nausea is a very uncomfortable felling which has been described as developing or ‘coming in the form of waves’; the overall feeling of nausea is a sudden overwhelming woozy sensation that takes over abruptly.  The list of potential remedies is vast. One of the oldest herbal remedy is ginger. Several studies have found it effective against nausea from seasickness and other conditions.
 
Ginger - Motion SicknessIn a recent study 36 people highly susceptible to motion sickness were given either two capsules of a powdered ginger, antinausea medication, or a placebo. The results of the research showed that the people that took the ginger pills delayed the onset of physical sickness twice as long as the patients taking the antinausea medicine.

So if you’re going to take a cruise and don’t like the nausea feeling that many people get, take a couple of natural ginger motion sickness tablets. Upon departure it is very sensible to go to your cabin to sleep where you will start to adjust to the motion of the vessel. Bon Voyage.
